Glennmont Partners is one of Europe’s largest fund managers, focussing exclusively on investment in clean energy infrastructure. They raise long-term capital to invest in alternative power generation projects, such as wind farms, biomass power stations, solar parks and small-scale hydro power plants.

Initially Dominic and the team discussed Glennmont’s requirements for a recruitment programme to support a new fund - building a development company from scratch.

To demonstrate our abilities, Dominic outlined what necessary roles were required, designed a hiring programme and conducted market analysis to perform salary benchmarking in a range of locations including Spain, Italy and Portugal, also providing an understanding of the associated costs.

After seeing the value that we could add to their process, Glennmont briefed Dominic and we were instructed on three programs to build teams from MD level through to engineers.

As Dominic outlined the full plan, Glennmont knew exactly what to expect at every step of the way. The initial proposal writing process which included the market analysis took two weeks. The full programme which included 14 mandates took six months. Each role taking an average of one month from search to offer.

Role location was, as ever, a challenge. Eleven provided a consultative service, advising Glennmont of the different taxation levels, benefits packages, and salary expectations in each location.

All recruitment for Glennmont was managed including Portfolio Directors, Asset Controllers and Asset Managers.

Today we continue to support Glennmont in an advisory/consultancy role streamlining their entire recruitment process by creating simple SLAs and working with them to deliver on future business objectives.
