We are looking for a Lead Process Engineer/ Process Engineering Manager to join one of our favourite clients
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team and be involved in a series of exciting challenges with one of the fastest-growing engineering consultancies in the UK.
You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment (office/homeworking) and travel across the UK to clients' sites.

- Provide process expertise to ensure delivery of projects to tight timescales in accordance with client expectations.
- Supporting Engineering Director in all aspects of Process Design to deliver engineering solutions at Concept, FEED and detailed design project phases.
- Ability to lead the design projects independently and manage the process design team as a deputy.
- Develop sizing calculations for Process equipment (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, reactors etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment datasheet
- Providing design inputs to drafting
- Review design documents/drawings prepared by the design team
- Keep up to date with new developments of standards, process software’s, procedures and implement them in the day-to-day work
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and chemical process simulators. Experience gained on production sites will be a plus, specially in the spirits sector
- Perform site visits to complete site surveys, site meetings, and other site related activities
- Prepare process specifications, drawings (PFD, P&IDs etc.), and process deliverables.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Ideally chartered or working towards chartership.
- Proven core Process Engineering skills, including design experience
- Familiarity with process design in a chemical process plants environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
