Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Uphold a strong safety culture, ensuring all experiments are conducted safely and effectively.
- Scientific Expertise: Plan and execute high-quality research, contributing to technical advancements within the team.
- Team Collaboration: Play an active role in team meetings, offer insights, and collaborate on workplans to align with business priorities.
- Technical: Become a subject matter expert, supporting the technical programme and working closely with the engineering team on process development and scale-up.
- Data Mastery: Manage experimental data with precision, analyse outcomes, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the smooth running of the lab, assist with day-to-day operations, and propose innovative ideas to enhance safety and efficiency.
- MSc in Chemistry or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of R+D experience in an industrial setting
- Expertise in High Reactive / High Pressure chemistries essential
- Familiarity with analytical methods like NMR, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and GPC
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative and independent approach
- Excellent data management and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
