About the Role:
Are you an experienced Chartered Chemical Engineer with a passion for technical excellence and leadership?

Eleven have been retained to find a Process Engineering Manager for a top tier CoMAH Chemical Manufacturing plant based in Warrington.

This is a high-impact role, where you'll manage a skilled technical team and take responsibility for the safety, efficiency, and development of complex processes across COMAH installations, high-hazard pipelines, and critical assets.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Chartered Chemical Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in process design, troubleshooting, and development across various technologies.
  • Strong technical SHE leadership with a deep understanding of COMAH regulations, relevant legislation, and standards.
  • Leadership experience, ideally managing teams of engineers in high-hazard environments.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading technical strategy: Develop and implement asset strategies to support business and manufacturing goals, including new asset development and process improvements.
  • Technical SHE leadership: Ensure all processes meet the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental performance.
  • Process Engineering: Oversee all process engineering activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Team leadership: Manage a team of internal process engineers, and additional contractors depending on project volume
  • Collaboration and influence: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to influence decision-making and ensure compliance.
