We are currently searching for a Head of Revenue to join the established team of an IPP where you will be a key leader responsible for designing and implementing commercial strategies, managing PPAs, and driving the overall revenue growth. This role is based in Madrid.
This IPP develops, builds, and operates solar PV projects in Southern Europe, mostly in Spain, Portugal, and Italy.

This IPP develops, builds, and operates solar PV projects in Southern Europe, mostly in Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
Key responsibilities:
- Energy Trading Strategy -Develop and implement a comprehensive energy trading strategy to mitigate risks while optimize revenue from renewable energy projects.
- Revenue Optimization - Analyze and optimize revenue streams from energy sales (power, Guarantees of Origin, Market Access), taking into account market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
- Commercial Strategy Development - Design and implement innovative commercial strategies to optimize revenue generation from solar photovoltaic projects alongside other technologies.
- PPA Management and Contract Negotiation - Actively manage Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and lead the negotiation of energy sales contracts with corporate and utility to secure favourable terms for BNZ.
- Financial Planning, Analysis & Business Development - Lead efforts to acquire potential clients by leveraging market insights, understanding client needs, and tailoring proposals to meet requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree.
- + 10 years of Proven experience in designing and implementing successful commercial strategies in the energy sector (Renewable energy/Utilities gas/electrical market)
- Demonstrated expertise in actively managing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and proven experience negotiating complex energy sales contracts.
- Experience in client acquisition and relationship management within the energy industry.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is a must and another EU language is desirable.
