Legal Counsel

Great opportunity for an In-house Lawyer to join a very successful and highly respected business based in London.

Due to the continued success and future growth plans, the business has created this Legal Counsel position.
 
Purpose of the Role:

Assist CFO to complete the company’s BRR, carry out the company’s business compliance review, verify and deal with internal or external compliance complaints and provide internal legal advice.


Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents and contracts.
• Representing the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.
• Conduct trade regulation analysis.
• Advising on risk management and legal implications of policy decisions.
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Participating in strategic planning and decision making at a senior level.
• Undertake project work as required.

 
Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Qualified solicitor.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts is essential.
• Previous experience working within the oil industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
