Location: Macclesfield
Position: Full Time, On site
Salary: £35-40,000 plus benefits

Are you a passionate engineer with hands-on R&D experience, and a passion for process development?

Eleven have been retained to find a “Process Scientist” to play a critical role in developing innovative processes and scaling up groundbreaking technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Development: Assist in developing novel process designs using experimental data and models.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a strong safety culture, participate in safety reviews.
• Operational Excellence: Operate reactor systems, troubleshoot lab and pilot-scale equipment, and perform critical calculations for customer projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively share knowledge across teams, solve complex challenges, and improve processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or above, in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Industrial experience in chemicals R+D environment, with lab and plant experience
• Ability to design, execute, and critically analyse experimental programmes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
