About the Role
We are currently supporting one of our key clients in their search for an Origination Manager to join their established team, based in Madrid.
In this role you will be responsible for originating new valuable PPA opportunities, developing relationships with key off-takers (Utilities, traders, corporates), negotiating and executing the PPA's for their pipeline and defining the off-take strategy.
Our client is an IPP that develops, builds, and operates a diverse pipeline of renewable energy projects, specifically solar PV, across Southern Europe, particularly in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and analyse route-to-market options for renewable energy generation, in terms of risk/reward for the asset portfolio.
- Manage the performance of existing PPA contracts and assess impacts on project financing contracts and SPV cash flows.
- Lead PPA transactions in liaison with other functions (Growth, Legal, Project Finance, Finance, Asset Management)
Desirable Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience, with a management or technical background and experience in a similar role
- Fluent English and Spanish, and Italian and Portuguese beneficial
